2. What happened to IMDB?
This book was written using Windows 2000 beta 3 to provide you the latest
coverage of COM and COM+. However Microsoft choose not to include the In
Memory Database as part of the final release of Windows 2000. I am
disappointed in this decision, since I think that IMDB offers some important
benefits to web developers. I also hope that Microsoft will choose to
release this technology in a future update to Windows.
