Welcome to the Car Collector home page. Car Collector is a Shareware program that runs under Microsoft Windows to help people manage their collection of Matchbox, Hot Wheels, Johnny Lightning and other brands of miniature cars. It maintains a database that includes a "Virtual Car Catalog" of die cast cars with pictures and descriptions, and a "Personal Inventory List" that links information about your own car collection with the information in the Virtual Car Catalog.
The following sections include more detailed information about the Car Collector program. While there is a lot of information in these sections, probably the best way to experience Car Collector is to download it and try it. Since Car Collector is Shareware, there is absolutely no risk. If you find the program useful, then you can register it for only $34.95. A version on 3.5" HD diskettes is also available through the mail for $49.95. Once you have registered your copy of Car Collector, all upgrades to the Registered Edition are free (if you download it).
